3D: Why do you enjoy playing the game?
John: I enjoy playing basketball because it allows me to constantly set goals and achieve them in a short amount of time or over a longer period of time. Also at the end of the day, it is ultimately a fun game where I can just go out and play without worrying too much about anything else.
3D: Describe your game in 3 words?
John: Get it done
3D: Who is the toughest player you have played against?
John: I’ve played against a lot of good players from around the province and through 3D, however for my age group, the toughest player 1 on 1 is Erickson Evangelista. He can beat you in so many different (and embarrassing) ways offensively and is also a very strong physical defender.
3D: Who are your role models?
John: My role models from the 3D program for point guards are Sean Burke and Tyler Kepkay. Both players are excellent examples of point guards who live the “3-D’s” and have gone on to succeed at the next level with “complete games”.
3D: What has 3D done for your development?
John: 3D has helped me grow as a player because the coaches are constantly pushing us harder in an environment to help us succeed. Also, I have played with a bunch of guys now for a few years and seeing them grow as players has kept me motivated to keep up.
