The 3D Elite Development Academy is committed to the physical, social and character development of student athletes in pursuit of excellence in the sport of basketball at the highest level. Through sport-specific elite basketball skill development, athletes train in a positive and competitive environment that promotes learning and growth. The Academy is set up for elite athletes who have chosen to specialize in the sport of Basketball. These athletes must dedicate themselves on a daily basis in their pursuit of basketball excellence. Most will have the dream to play post-secondary basketball at the college or university level, and will strive to one day represent their country on the Canadian National team as well as playing basketball professionally. The Academy athletes will have the opportunity to work with experienced coaches in the areas of skill development, team concepts, strength and conditioning, video analysis, mental training, nutrition, and recruiting. Guest coaches from Canadian Colleges and Universities as well as from the National Team will make appearances at the Academy to talk and work with the athletes. This 3D Elite Development Academy is a full time commitment. Athletes will be challenged to make themselves and their fellow EDA members into better players. Each member of the EDA will be expected to attend all practices, exhibition games, and strength and conditioning sessions as well as maintain a high academic standard at their high school while members of the Academy.
