Thomas Staron
Executive Director
Entering his 20th year of coaching, Thomas has been the director of 3D since 2001. He founded the first girls program and started BC's only Elite academy in 2009. He Co-Founded BC United in 2017 for BC's top female athletes to compete in the G-UAA. He has helped over one hundred players move on to NCAA D1, U-Sports, and CCAA Post Secondary Basketball.
Ibrahim Ebo Bayazit
Head Coach
Coach Ebo has over 17 years of international playing and coaching experience. He played professionally in Turkey for 7 years. Returning to BC he assisted in coaching and player development for the SFU NCAA men's team where he helped them achieve their most successful season to date. He's excited to be working with the Elite ballers to the young beginners of 3D.
Miceail Coghlan
Head Coach
Coach Miceail grew up in Kelowna, before taking his talents overseas to play professionally in the first division in Ireland, and Denmark. Both seasons he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds. Since returning to BC he's coached Sr. Boys at Gladstone Secondary, as well as the past 7 years with 3D. He loves seeing players go from beginners all the way to 3D Elite travel teams, and beyond.
Rich Chambers
Head Coach
Coach Rich Chambers will be in the Canadian Coaching Hall of Fame. With nearly 50 years of coaching experience he's really done it all! He started on the girls side, where he became the head coach for UVic and helped turn that program around. He went from assisting to becoming head coach for the Jr. National team on the women's side. He's been a huge part of 3D and BC United for the past 7 years.
Max Whitworth
Head Coach
Coach Max is a testament to 3D building up players to become great leaders in their community. As a 3D member since age 10, Max had a lot of success on the hardwood. After graduating he wanted to give back and has been coaching with 3D for the past 4 years. He has also coached the Argyle's Gr. 9 boys the last two seasons to top 5 finishes in the province.
Curtis Allamby
Head Coach / Strength and Condtioning
Coach Curtis is from a basketball hotbed in Toronto where he grew up playing both basketball and football. Since moving to BC he's specialized as a strength and conditioning coach for the past ten years. He's been coaching with the NV Basketball Academy for the past 4 years, and is a big part of the Seycove Jr. and Sr. Girls programs now.
Kile Cooke
Strength & Conditioning
Kile has coached at the High school level as well as Univesity at Capilano and SFU. He also was part of the Toronto Raptors Training Camp in 2014 and 2016 at Fortius. He specializes in strength and conditioning and has a degree from UBC in Kinesiology. One of his biggest drivers for coaching is his passion for helping athletes expand their vision on being prepared for sport.
Yoni Marmorstein

Coach Yoni has coached basketball on the North Shore for the past 7 years. He's also started a media company "Hoop Reel" providing highlight reels to BC's top athletes. He worked for 2 years with BC Sports Hub where he helped grow their following from 1K to 10K followerers. He is passionate about growing the culture of basketball in BC through media and player development.
